Choosing a Florist
- Request samples of their work and ask them what they would consider their design style. Who will be ordering the flowers, and who will be the designer assigned to create everything for your wedding?
- Will they deliver, setup, transfer, reset, and pick-up any of the florals and/or rental pieces -- this way you may reuse some of the pieces in multiple locations!
- What is the final date for changes to your counts for centerpieces, corsages, boutonnieres, etc.?
- Will they make a sample centerpiece or bouquet once you have given a deposit and signed a contract?
- What is their payment, refund, cancellation, and change of date policy?
- Will they assign someone to pin on all the personal flowers, or leave them for someone else to handle?
- What do they recommend based on your style and date of your wedding for the type of flower(s) in season, and do they use locally grown florals, berries, and citrus to save you money on transportation cost?
